Summary, a short version:
The i:GO Group [Wales] live online is a collaborative project for improvisers who play the guitar at a distance from each other, employing System 50:50. The process involves playing, improvising in real time in the web application Zoom. Zoom is a virtual-host venue, it is online, the event and its content is supported and framed by the web application Zoom.
Target 8 participants [improvisers], minimum is 4, maximum is 12
If the numbers exceed twelve we will launch a new project: i:GO Orchestra, but one step at a time..
This is a `digital online` project and in practice anyone, anywhere can participate. It is starting with the tag `Wales` and we wish to recruit improvisers who live in Wales. Later there will be concerts in Wales too.
The project will open out with a seperate open call to all areas, globally: From Wales to New South Wales.
This project is open to improvisers who
- Play the guitar
- Never played `System 50:50` before`
- All levels of ability and experience
The term live is used to differentiate this project with other 50:50 Online projects which are based on file sharing and not `live`
