Chris Cundy Solo, bass clarinet

One of the most extraordinary sessions we’ve ever had, with some beautiful playing from Chris Cundy” – Jez Nelson BBC RADIO 3

Having worked closely with Fyfe Dangerfield and a wide variety of artists including Circus company Nofit State, Chris has kept a strong background within improvisation and experimental music. Regular collaborators include Pat Thomas, Dominic Lash and Rhodri Davies. Chris is one of the few players of this unusual and enigmatic instrument to play solo; a combination of improvisations and miniature compositions of his own, which he will debut at this year’s Manchester Jazz Festival. He is currently seeking further solo shows for this project.

"Immerse live analog A/V duo - overhead-projectors and turntables/dubplates"

air+electricity: Overhead-projection artist Katrin Bethge (Germany) and sound artist Robert Curgenven (Australia/Cornwall) explore the relation between the physical and immersive nature of light and sound - mediated only by the air and electricity which amplify their movement. The performance space is transformed into shifting constellations of physical vibration.
