System 50:50 in Sound for improvisers is a new approach to ensemble improvisation.
The Blank Canvas [large] Ensemble Birmingham! is a call for for musicians, improvisers.and five audience members.
This project has the finances in place for ten sessions, to take place through to the end of 2027.

Ensemble 50:50 London Concert 26.07.2026

50:50 is a new approach to ensemble improvisation. The aim of Ensemble 50:50 Lomdon is to create something new in a musical sense owned by those present by exploring the possibilities and limits  of freedom, improvisation in music making

Session design: This series that is called Click! is an online, telematic project hosted by zoom. It is managed by Phil Morton under the lable: centrifuge
Numerically there will be between 6 and twelve participants in the session. The participants are experienced in the genre known as free improvised music.

Regular Friday workshop in the basement of the Welsh Chapel in Southwark. Established and still occasionally led by Eddie Prévost of AMM.

Twelve members of the London Improvisers Orchestra are invite to explore System 50:50 in Sound for improvisers,
